2017 Spring Kickoff

Hello friends big and LITTLE!

Winter has come and gone here in Northern Michigan… and it was a weird one.  A fun mix of snow, rain, sun, wind, cold, warm, and so on.  The vines are doing well, still dormant, and recovering from 2014 and 2015 cold damage.  We are hopeful for a full, healthy crop in 2017 but we need to clear the frost threat that looms until early June.

We will be re-introducing some wines that we have made in the past, but haven’t been able to produce for a few years due to the weather.  We will be opening the tasting room on Thursday, May 4 for our fifth season with a robust wine list!  Our spring features will include:

C-3 Pinot – Brut Bubbly 2013 – **NEW Disgorgement**
Open Road (formerly Road Trip) – Rose 2016
Mixtape – White Blend 2016

**NEW**
 Lee Normi – Pommeau

Later in the summer will be into a new release of Tire Swing along with:

Dune Climb – Sauvignon Blanc 2016
Crayfish – Pinot Gris 2016
Treehouse – White Pinot Noir 2016

And we have several exciting events coming up quickly!

– April 23 – “Get Shucked” Oyster and Bubbly event at The Little Fleet
Tickets
– May 16 – The Cook’s House Wine Dinner
Tickets
– June 10 – Leland Wine and Food Festival
Tickets

Our tasting room hours will be Thursday – Saturday from 12-6 and Sunday 12-5. Our first day of the season will be Thursday, “May the 4th be with you”. We will be pouring complimentary pours of our new disgorgement of C-3 Pinot to honor the start of the season and the day on which it begins.

Cheers!
Mike & Pete
